The Kage VPN Router

The core of the Kage Network product offering is the Kage VPN router, which is a turnkey, hardware-based, plug-and-play VPN wifi6 router. Users can simply plug the router in and deploy its user-friendly configuration process to instantly protect and anonymize all connected devices in their home. It can handle any kind of connected device including personal computers, fridges, TVs and a full range of IoT gadgets. Designed with regular consumers in mind, it requires no technical skills to set up and operate.

The router features:

  • 1xWAN port (1Gbps port)

  • 4xLAN (1 of them encrypted)

  • Dual-band Wi-Fi: 600Mbps(2.4GHz) + 1200Mbps(5GHz)

  • CPU: IPQ6000 Quad-core @1.2GHz

  • NPU 1.5GHz

  • 4 x External Antennas.

It is supported by dedicated Tier1 VPN servers with 10Gbit interfaces, relying exclusively on Tier 1 carriers for the VPN network. Google cloud maintains a fully redundant and stable controlling unit of the VPN network.

The simple Kage VPN Router Management App allows you to easily change WIFI names, passcodes and IP router addresses. Users can:

  • Toggle Netflix passthrough

  • Block porn content

  • Block ads

  • Block malware

  • Make speedtests

  • Change country IP

  • Get an overview of all connected devices in the household

  • Change DNSs and IPs.

It also provides a Dual WIFI service that routes traffic over the current Internet Service Provider, whilst the other WIFI routes the traffic via the VPN.

Taken together all these features provide the most simple, easily-configurable, cost-effective, and device-compatible VPN solution that far exceeds anything on offer by software-based VPNs.
